The Financial Analyst will support the organization by establishing the FP&A function. This includes short-term cash planning, short and long-term financial plans, and analysis of historical financial results in order to identify and explain trends and variances. Critical job functions
• Assist in monthly financial closing, to include preparation of general ledger account reconciliations and analysis of financial results to identify and explain variances
• Analyze financial results to identify and explain trends in order to provide critical insights to managers, and identify opportunities for improvements and savings
• Act as the owner for financial reporting and analysis systems
• Manage legal contracts database and review for accounting requirements
• Prepare short-term cash forecasts
• Establish and monitor annual budgets and long-term financial plans
• Partner with managers to establish and justify capital expenditure plans and monitor actual expenditures
• Partner with managers to establish KPI’s and provide ad-hoc reports and analyses
• Participate in some aspects of the Treasury function to ensure compliance
• Provide internal audit capabilities
• Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for external stakeholders
• Participate in planning and due diligence for acquisitions.

• Sophisticated skills with standard office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with Prophix and Crystal Reports is helpful

• Ability to analyze and follow detailed procedures, propose new procedures as needed
