About the Role
Our client is seeking an attorney to join its expanding energy regulatory practice. Candidates with experience in administrative or regulatory matters at the federal or state level, regulated sectors, or judicial clerkships are encouraged to apply. This opportunity is well suited for a motivated professional with strong academic credentials and demonstrated legal research and writing abilities.
Practice Overview
The firm’s legal team advises clients on regulatory, environmental, and commercial matters involving electric, natural gas, water, and telecommunications industries across the western United States. The practice includes supporting organizations through evolving energy initiatives, including transmission infrastructure development, implementation of clean energy programs, renewable energy procurement, decarbonization strategies, and utility affordability considerations.

The organization currently follows a hybrid work structure, with attorneys working in-office a minimum of three days per week from its downtown Portland location. Relocation assistance of up to $10,000 is available for attorneys moving to the area.
