Our client, a boutique immigration law practice with a strong reputation in family and business immigration matters, is seeking a Family-Based Immigration Paralegal to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with individuals and families navigating important immigration processes in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Practice Areas Supported
- Marriage-based permanent residency petitions
- Fiancé(e) visa applications
- Family-sponsored immigration matters
- Adjustment of Status filings
- Consular processing cases
- Removal of conditions applications
- Citizenship and naturalization matters
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and file immigration petitions and supporting documentation
- Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates, document collection, and filing requirements
- Coordinate with attorneys and internal staff to ensure timely case progression
- Maintain accurate case records and deadlines through case management systems
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience handling family-based immigration matters
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Spanish language skills are beneficial but not required
- Authorized to work in the United States
Position Details
- Hybrid schedule with partial in-office attendance required
- Office located in the Dallas metropolitan area
- Half-day Fridays offered as part of the schedule structure
