Controller – $100k – $130k

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controller to oversee our company’s financial operations. The Controller will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles. The Controller will work closely with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company’s growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger

Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to provide accurate and timely financial information to senior management.

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP accounting principles
• Manage the annual budgeting process and ensure adherence to budget guidelines
• Conduct financial analysis and develop recommendations for senior management
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers
• Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the company
• Train and supervise accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to analyze financial data and develop recommendations for senior management
• Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
